The United Nations is planning to give away 1 Billion Laptops to needy students
worldwide.
These laptops are of a unique design. They will be powered by D cell batteries and
can be recharged by a hand crank. They will be able to access the internet via a Wi-Fi connection giving them

Various world governments who wish to participate must agree to purchase these
laptops from the UN in lots of 250,000 at a price of approximately $176 a unit ( ultimately prices will drop
to $100 a unit). The participating governments must agree to give the Laptops away to the students for
free!
Over the next 5-7 years the UN's goal is to give away 1 Billion Laptops!
